Pillow for the daughter of a Dear Friend

Hi All,
Just wanted to share another project that I made for a dear co-worker and friend. Her daughter pledged Delta Sigma Theta (you go girl). My friend wanted a unique gift for her daughter, so she commissioned me to make her this pillow and also the candy jar that was uploaded about a week ago.. I had a lot of fun creating both. I thought the eyelet material behind the letters would be a great femine touch to a already really cute design..  Although I had to leave out my signature pearl beads : ) I think it came out  really pretty.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

And if I dont upload anything before Thanksgiving..

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families, May God continue to show you grace, mercy and love during this holiday season.

Candy Jar

This is a Candy Jar I created for a friend at work for her daughter. Its made from terra cotta pots. I also used my cricut... CRICUT!! : ) I just love my cutters : ) to cut the vinyl to apply the symbols and the words. I hope she likes it as much as I do.

Happy Birthday AJ!!! : )

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to share with you a craft project for my great nephew.. Aj turned 2 this year and he loves Thomas the Train Engine : )
I made this pup tent after seeing it on Pin-terest.. I knew I had to make one so off to home depot I went.. man I really miss that place.. I use to go there all the time and build things but every since I started playing with paper I kind of neglected my old hobby.. but hey at least I'm still creating right..
So any way, the tent measures approx. 4 feet long (next time I will do it 3 feet long.. and about 3 1/2 feet tall.. it folds down flat for easy storage.. I also made a pillow to match. I figure he can hang out in there and look at books or watch Thomas : )

~~~~~~~~~~
The pillow was made using what else.. My cricut : ) I cut the letters at 3 inches tall after securing them to some steam a seam 2.. Now a word of caution, if you try this please use a very sticky mat, use steam a seam 2, place the material face down and then use some masking tape for all edges.. this will help the material stay in place and not shift during cutting and then dont forget to mirror the image so that when you cut the letters they will be right side up.. I hope this makes sense. I also sewed it down even though the steam to seam will hold the letters just fine.
The pillow is roughly the size of a standard pillow.
Any who... I love the way it came out..I hope he loves it too :)
Love you guys...
