A2 sized Card with Handmade earrings attached

I love this card!! I used a svg from Lettering Delights to make this card. I punched holes in her ears to produce earring holes and then I made these handmade pearl earrings. The white pearl is just a regular pearl and the blue pearl is made by painting a white pearl with clear nail polish, then using blue crackle nail polish and then using a top base to seal everything. I gave this to a friend of mine and also to my sister for their birthdays.. I just loved the way it came out.. BTW.. it is also a birthday card that opens up and there is a sentiment in the inside. :)
Love u all
Hugs and Smooches xoxo

A Personal Challenge

Hi All,
I have decided to do two challenges that will test my will power and also strengthen my knowlege of items I currently own.
I want to challenge myself to use items that I already have.  I dont know about you, but I am a chronic youtuber!! I love all the videos and projects that I see. I love how people explain the different ways to do the projects and I especially love the products used to complete the projects. This is sometimes a problem. Its a problem because youtube will make you  go spend all your money trying to compete with other artist. I feel as though I have enough items in my craft studio to complete most if not all the projects I want to tackle. So I have decided to put myself on a craft spending diet. I am starting to save my change from everyday purchases and when I have enough change that is when I will reward myself with something new.. Until then I will use what I have. I know this is not going to be easy but I have to prove to myself that I am creative and I can create with what I have already on hand. Soooooooo....
I have also decided to start back using my cricut cartridges... I put them away a while ago when I brought the eclips. Buuuuttt now that my eclips is broken (sizzix is replacing it) It has forced me to bring out my oldie but goodie (cricut) and take a closer look at my cartridges... I must say they are very interesting.
In August I will be making at least two items a week using one of my cricut cartridges until I have used all of them at least twice...I have a total of 21 physical cartridges and some digital carts on my craftroom site.  I am not sure what I will be making but I am going to challenge myself to make something with them (I mean I did have a use for them at one time or another didnt I??) hmmmm well wish me luck.. play along too and have fun while I explore my old treasures : )
See ya soon,
Love ya

Welcome

Hi All,
Welcome to my new blog. I am really excited to have finally done this (its been a long time coming). I wanted to introduce myself to you all. My name is Gloria Lewis, advid crafter. I pray that I inspire and encourage you to do and be all that God wants. I also want to have fun, create, create and oh yes create some more. Crafting is my thing... besides being a AWESOME mom : ) and a WONDERFUL wife I am also a very creative person. I have done a lot of different crafts in my short 34 years of life. I have sewn, did metal workings, wood work, built many items around my home, jewelry making.. but most recently I have enjoyed paper crafting. Its something about creating and completing a project in a hour or so that gives me a much needed stress release. I also love the expressions, ohhhh and awwww received by my children and my husband. They give me the encouragment and focus I need to keep doing what I love. Although I work a full time job... there is always time to craft.. I love my husband!! Did I mention that? He allows me to be me and do what I enjoy. He built me a craft studio so that everything is in one place..(although junkie at times) I love him for that because not everyone will sacrifice a walk in closet to pacify and satisfy their wife : ) So thats why I named my blog (Hubby Lets me Craft) : ) So sit back relax and allow time to stand still while checking out my blog. I pray this will be an awesome adventure. I love you guys already...
